This whiskey traces its origins back to the mid-1800s, when Augustus Bulleit, a bartender from Louisville, began experimenting with small-batch Bourbon recipes. His story took a mysterious turn when he vanished while transporting barrels of whiskey to New Orleans. Decades later, in 1987, the brand was revived by his great-great-grandson, Thomas E. Bulleit.
Bulleit Bourbon is known for its exceptional quality and distinctive high rye content, making it an excellent choice for classic whiskey cocktails like the Old Fashioned, Whiskey Sour, or Manhattan.
