A different expression to the much loved A'bunadh Sherry matured releases. The Alba bottling is a sibling bottling that is entirely matured in American oak casks. Like the original A'bunadh it is released in batches and at natural cask strength.
Tasting Notes from the Producer
Aromas (with water) Sweet, with a pronounced aroma of ripe red apples along with honey, vanilla and a hint of cinnamon.
Palate (with water) Sweet, with a creamy, oily texture. As the whisky opens up elements of citrus zest, cinnamon and dried apple emerge. Finish: Long, sweet, with a pronounced pepperiness.
