Green Spot Whiskey

Green Spot is a 100% pure pot still whiskey that dates back to the early 1900s, when Jameson supplied whiskey to the renowned wine merchants, Mitchell & Son. During that time, it was common for wine merchants and publicans to bottle their own whiskey and sell it under the distiller’s name. Green Spot became just as iconic as Jameson and is one of the few surviving merchant brands still available today.

Originally known as Pat's Whiskey in the early 20th century, Green Spot was part of a series that included Blue Spot, Yellow Spot, and Red Spot, each featuring different ages and recipes. While Yellow Spot has made its comeback, there may be even more colored versions released in the future.

Today, Green Spot is crafted at the Midleton Distillery from pot still whiskey aged between seven and nine years, with 25% matured in sherry casks, giving it a unique depth. This whiskey is produced in limited quantities and is highly regarded by whiskey enthusiasts, writers, and collectors alike.
